The Apothecary at Flipp is stocked with a wide variety of loose and powdered herbs that can be used in a multitude of ways. We also carry herbal extracts, blended teas and tisane, a full range of botanically based hair and skincare, carrier oils & butters. Along with many accessories for all your self care rituals, from candles, bath & body, and accessories for blending that perfect cup of tea. We change it up every Season, with a focus on supporting local artisans and their works. Our Apothecary allows us to create anything from custom blended teas to skin care products to all natural perfumes
Botanic Providence 105 Wickenden St. Providence
In 2022 Jo-Anna opened Botanic Providence, a short, 3 minute walk from Filpp Salon. Offering an even wider selection of bulk herbs, some grown on our farm. We also have herbal teas (tisane), black and green teas, liquid extracts, concentrated plant extracts and herbal powders to help support your overall well-being. Feel free to contact us for details and to discover all of our products in the Apothecary. Botanic is also the location where we make the Botanic Providence line of skin, hair and body care in-house. We also have a collection of tarot, metaphysical items, herbal books and locally made jewelry and art.
Founder + formulator of Botanic providence, Jo-Anna, has long had a passion for the power of plants; amazed by their beauty and the abilities they possess. She has formally studied Botany and Herbalism since 2005, however she would tell you the plants themselves have been her most intimate teachers giving her insight into translating their language, mythology and lore.
